Re: I had ETS in 1998 and...

Hi! It has been 8 years for me. I have experienced a little bit of the gustatory sweating, but I don't eat very spicy foods.. usually it's just my nose that gets sweaty. My upper body (above nipple line) feels a little too dry. I have learned to love jojoba oil, it is perfect for dry skin. I dab a l...

Re: struggling with sports in heat

I know what you mean by having trouble cooling down. I can't sweat that much above my nipple line either. Unfortunately, probably the most effective solution would be to change your lifestyle and not do those intensive outdoor activities. For me, I was never an outdoors type of person, so I never ha...

Re: Update on my battle with palmar hyperhidrosis

I figured I'd give another update in this thread. It's hard to believe that it's been almost been five years since my ETS surgery. I still can remember the drive to Miami with my parents, being wheeled around the hospital by nurses, constantly confirming the surgery I was about to undertake, the pha...

Re: 1 1/2 Month after ETS Surgery - Why is this happening?

My right hand gets sweaty and it's been 2.5 yrs since my surgery. On a scale of 1-10, where 10 is like before the surgery, it's a 6 in humid environments. When I'm indoors and nervous, it's a 4. My left hand only sweats 30% as much as the right hand. I'm not doing anything to treat this currently. I...

Re: ETS Surgery over 1 year ago

Hi, Right hand sweating also recurred for me about 8 months after my ETS surgery. I had my surgery very close to yours, Jan 20th 2011. It can be troublesome, and I haven't really treated it yet. I've been thinking about trying iontophoresis on it. According to Dr. Reisfeld's site, this recurrence sw...

admin, have you tried hot yoga?

Hey, just wondering if you tried hot yoga. I saw a post saying that you were going to try it. Did not sweating above the nipple line have a negative effect (like did you overheat)?

Thanks, Steve

admin, I have questions about your iontophoresis treatments

Hey admin, first question: Are you still doing iontophoresis for your feet? Next question... Would you do iontophoresis to cure your right hand? It seems like my right hand also sweats somewhat at times. For example, I can't use touchscreen phones comfortably with my right hand, or use laptop trackp...

Are you bald? If you are you could try topical glycopyrrolate.
