miraDry for other body areas

Dr. Amit of Cosmebeaute in the UK and Dr. Christoph Schick in Germany are both treating body areas other than the armpits with miraDry. See my update here:

Endoscopic Thoracic Ganglionectomy of mid thoracic ganglia (T3-T8) to treat Compensatory Sweating

I am very skeptical about this new Endoscopic Thoracic Ganglionectomy of mid thoracic ganglia (T3-T7 or T8) procedure from Dr. Nielsen. You must have pretty severe compensatory sweating (CS) to even consider such large-scale destruction of your sympathetic nervous system. https://www.hyperhidrosis-u...

Re: ETS Surgery- Personal story of a monumental loss

Thanks. Are you sure you got T-1 removed on one side? You would have Horner's Syndrome on one eye in that case right? Was your doctor Arun Prasad?

Re: ETS Surgery- Personal story of a monumental loss

Thanks for the detailed summary and videos. I do not frequent these forums much, but there seem to be more visitors lately. Did your feet sweat a lot prior to ETS and do they still sweat? Do you know which ganglions you had cut/clamped/cauterized? I live in an area where the temperature rarely cross...

A Practical Approach to the Diagnosis and Treatment of Palmar Hyperhidrosis

An interesting new paper from March 2022 discusses the current status of palmar hyperhidrosis treatments. I liked the part titled emerging treatments for palmar hyperhidrosis (PH). https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8901220/ Radiofrequency stimulation: A recent study performed by Lin et al...

If you are ok using browser translate features, the Dutch (Netherlands) Hyperhidrosis Forums are the most active a...

Re: Wish I had more info 12 years ago...

Sorry to hear about your problems :( , but glad that you are still exercising. On the dry half of your face, do you also have more dandruff on the scalp on that half? Were you able to run long distances easily before your surgery? Probably best to go to a professional heart-lung/cardio-pulmonary exp...
