He's a very experienced surgeon. He does the T3/T4 nerves which is the best route. Some surgeons still include T2 which is un-necessary for palmar hyperhidrosis and drops your heart rate! To be honest I would look at the recommended surgeons list that is linked on the front page of this website. Tha...

Hi, great job deciding to get help on hyperhidrosis. You’ve probably seen my big thread on my struggle with hyperhidrosis. It’s been almost a half a year since my ETS surgery, and my life has took a 180 since. When I had sweaty hands, I struggled everyday of my life just to get through the day. Ther...

Steve nf, How did you surgery go? I'm asking because I've just joined the forum as am at the end of my tether following just about every single treatment that is available to HH sufferers. I am 30 and had the sympathectomy surgery when I was 14 but it didn't help me at all. Actually I did have dry ...

Basically the only side-effects that have remained are the compensatory sweating, and the phantom sweating. Dry eyes are no longer a problem. Compensatory sweating is tolerable. I soak through my butt area and my thighs more easily, but it's nothing like it was with the hands. I'm buying a spray ant...

What a wonderful story! It shows that despite the side-effects of this surgery, people are still quite happy, and stay happy! What's funny is, for you, the dry hands are a problem. For me, I wouldn't mind having armpit sweating, especially during exercise. I got the surgery for sweaty "DRIPPY" hands...

I wouldn't mind a small amount of years off of my life if I lived a good one. Couldn't imagine living a "normal" life with hyperhidrosis.

Next time i'm getting an eye exam i'll request some prescription eye drops. my face was very oily and...

Hey, you're welcome. Unfortunately I did not check my heart rate before, nor did any of the personnel at the hospital. So, I have no records for that, sorry. Anyways, I realize I have the phantom sweating side-effect, where my hands feel like they're sweating but they're not. I checked some info, an...

I registered at the hospital at 8 am, and then I went to the room where I was given the IV. Stayed in that room for quite awhile, about an hour... then headed to the room where I was given the anesthesia. The doctor was there and after a brief acknowledgement the anesthesia started to kick in and I ...

I got the Robinul tablets a few weeks ago. Kind of been putting them off because A) Potential side effects (I even heard it could possibly cause memory loss?) B) Even if they do work effectively, I'm not keen on taking a pill which isn't even created purposely for hyperhidrosis for the rest of my li...

Well, got a prescription for Robinul. It seems like the surgery will be in mid-January; I just have to see when my parents can take off. I'll try out the Robinul during winter break.

That's amazing. It must feel so great to have dry hands all the time and be able to use them with confidence. I am curious, what nerves did you have cut/clamped?
