Re: Major Improvements on my HH conditions all happening Nat

Kenlee,
So you haven't been sweating (like you used to) for the last month or so. And this time coincides with using the WaterGuard product. You'd never used it before this?

Re: My HH story

That's great. Congratulations on this success!

I'm guessing your feet will sweat "normally" like your hands (as is the case for me also - I had ETS surgery).

I wonder will there be compensatory sweating?

What convinced you this surgery was worth trying now?

Re: Major Improvements on my HH conditions all happening Nat

Thanks for your answer and explanation. That's very interesting. I don't think the press-ups cured you. I looked up WaterGuard. It's sodium hypochrorite - essentially bleach. Used in very small amounts to clean drinking water. So this product is something you recently started using? Have you tried r...

Re: My starting story...

Also, forgive me if this is a stupid question but have you talked to a doctor about this? I think for most of us HH is something we've had all our lives, as opposed to having started later in life. That, combined with your stated lifestyle and diet, makes me worry about any possible underlying cause.

Re: My starting story...

I have no idea how the Hidrex works but when you say it's delivering 40mA I have to wonder if something's up with it. Is that a normal setting to use? With the Fischer I treat my feet with 15mA. And I can definitely feel the current. Any higher and it becomes uncomfortable. When I moved state recent...

Re: My HH story

Great post, thanks.

You didn't write much about the actual results of the surgery. Are your feet totally dry now?

Re: Major Improvements on my HH conditions all happening Nat

A press-up is the same as a push-up.

Kenlee, can you explain what "Water Guard" is and how you use it? What exactly were your HH symptoms before finding this cure?

Re: ETS for hyperhidrosis

If only your hands/feet are affected by hyperhidrosis (you didn't specify) then try iontophoresis before resorting to ETS.

Re: My starting story...

The shallow trays work fine for hands but not for feet if they sweat anywhere above just the soles. I discovered this when the iontophresis worked for me, drying my soles successfully but the tops of my feet still perspired. I wrote a long post about this if you're interested. Search my posts for th...

Re: My starting story...

When I first used my Fischer device, the depth of its trays meant the water barely reached the tops of my feet. My skin around the water surface would get sore and dry. I realized I needed to be treating more of my feet as I sweated up to my ankles so I made deeper trays. This worked perfectly, and ...

Re: You're not alone...

You can buy chamomile tea at any grocery store. It's likely that brand on Amazon won't be any different, except for specifically being organic. As long as it contains only chamomile (some teas are blends so read the label) it doesn't matter what brand. I actually bought some last night and am going ...

Re: 26yo with lifelong HH

Once dryness is achieved with the iontophoresis device, maintaining the effect depends upon your level of sweatyness. The instructions imply the possibility of being able to maintain with treatments every two weeks. There is no way that would work for me. Currently twice a week does work. When the w...
