Hey carolinagirl, welcome to the forums! I have had ETS and get CS mostly in the feet. For a period of time, I also got CS elsewhere, but that seems to have largely disappeared. You are lucky to be living in a warm place during these winter months. Anyway, we will hopefully get more people joining t...

Sonic lucky you! I also had success with Dehydral in the armpits, but stopped since the armpit sweating doesn't bother me much. Odaban, Maxim and numerous other products are effective in the armpits, and most of the experienced surgeons no longer offer ETS to treat armpit seating. Unfortunately, mos...

AJ, have you tried Dehydral? I purchased it for my feet sweating, but it did nothing. I then experimented with it in my armpits and it was extremely effective to the point of resulting in discomfortably dry armpits. I only used it a few times in my armpits and than stopped as I don't mind some sweat...

Great video of sweaty palms

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvgHDX5u444&mode=related&search= I used to have about the same level of sweating in my hands prior to ETS (though for only an hour so so a day at that intensity level). After ETS, my hands stopped sweating, but my feet sweating increased to a similarly high level as a...

I paid $6000 since insurance refused to cover the cost. I never knew I could appeal the decision at the time as I was too young! Even with insurance, you might still have to pay the first $1000 or something to that effect. You should definitely try the various iontophoresis machines first -- somethi...

Hi steve, Welcome to the boards. I know what you are saying as I went through all the same stuff you are going through. I ended up having surgery at the age of 18 without EVER trying iontophoresis. While the surgery was successful in stopping hand sweating, I have some side effects now and wish I ha...

michaelr, Sounds like you do have hyperhidrosis :-( However, the extent of your hand and feet sweating might not be very bad, in which case creams and lotions might be very helpful. Otherwise, iontophoresis is definitely worth trying out. Excessive armpit sweating is not abnormal and very very commo...

I assume the wrinkling in the hand picture in the above link is not permanent!? Anyway, it still beats heavily sweating hands I think.
