What side effects can you get once you apply Botox to your palms? Does it stay in your bloodstream for a while?

The only thing I've heard is temporary muscle weakness. But that's only if the dermatologist injects too deeply into the muscle tissue. I've never had this happen to me. The only MINOR side effect I had was for about 30 minutes my fingers were swollen and numb. There are light bruises from the injections too, but they are not painful at all.
