Anyone have success using baking soda?

I heard that using this machine and putting baking soda in the water gives a better chance of success. Anyeon tried it? I haven't bought the Idrostar yet due to the expense:-(

I'd like to know too. I used baking soda in mine, but it was only my 1st time, so I don;t know. I've also heard of people using drysol in the water to make the drysol penetrate better. I'll try that if I get no results in 10 treatments.
