Scar tissue after ETS

Does aqnyone know what they mean by scar tissue after having ETS surgery and why this scar tissue is still present several years later. Does the scar tissue ever go away and can it spread even more in later years? Is it like black burnt toast!? Is there a chance that the scar tissue does not form right after surgery irrespective of burning o cutting nerves? Thanks.

Even I am interested in learning more about the scar tissue after ETS and what happens to it over the years.
