Hi. I had ETS in 1999 and 2000. My personal experiences have not been good. It is undoubtedly effective for excessive palm sweating, but one of the many problems I've found is that it also stops you sweating from 'normal' areas like the underarms and face - vital for temperature regulation.
Do a lot of reading and tread carefully would be my advice.
Best of luck whatever you decide.

What problems do you want to cure with the ETS?
Destroying three ganglia on both sides seems excessive. They used to cut lower ganglia to treat armpit sweating, but, from what I read sympathectomy is unfortunately not a long-term cure for arm sweating.

I had ets two years ago (but it was T2 surgery). I suffer from really bad CS all over (chest, back, armpit, stomach, thighs, butt, feet). Bu i don't have any others side effects only CS.

From what I read clamping T3 only seems to be the safest solution. Unfortunately, even clamping T3 only can cause unbearable and irreversible CS, but in much less cases than other types of ETS.

Have you tried Botox. Please only have the surgery as a last resort when you have tried everything else. I had ETS surgery 4 years ago and I have regretted it ever since. My CS covers and area 10 times the size of my original HH on the scalp. Good luck and I wish you all the best.
