Hi,
I'm new on this forum and thought I would share my story
I used to sufferfrom palmar hyperhydrosis, although topical treatments worked they caused bad skin irritation and I was referred for a bilateral sympathectomy. Post surgery my hands were totally sweat free for the first time. I was thrilled until I quickly realised I was now sweating profusely everywhere, back, groin, legs, head, (everywhere except my hands) I didn't sweat badly per op from anywhere except my hands.
I also developed raynauds does anyone know if this is related to the surgery?
I am currently taking probanthine it works mostly but gives me such a dry mouth and eyes. I feel like my condition worsens a little more each year, I even sweat when I eat.
Anyone got any advice, drug alternatives, etc?
