Progressively worse CS

Post by southern cal »

So I suffered from armpit and facial sweat most my life. The arm pit sweat went up and down throughout my life and my face would sweat in really hot/humid conditions. I learned about ETS surgery and although the doctor mentioned the chances of CS he never really went into what degree the CS would be. Post surgery life was amazing. I stopped sweating in my arm pits and my face. The first sign I saw was when i ate spicy foods my face would sweat. It was weird because i could run 5 miles and not have a drop but sweat profusely when i ate medium spicy food. Then i started to lightly sweat in my chest and back. The back and chest started getting worse around year 4/5. Around year 6 I started sweating around my lower back and butt and groin. Now its about year 7 and I can just take my dog for a walk down the street and I will sweat in my arm pits, chest, back, butt and groin. Its progressively getting worse and I'm really scared for the future. I've heard of people getting better over time but has anyone gone from no CS to CS getting worse and then subsiding again? In year 8 now.

Hi southern cal, what is CTS surgery? Did you mean ETS surgery? What ganglions did you have cut?

That does not sound too good. I have heard of other side effects but this is something new. Did consult any specialists regarding this? If yes then what did they say? I am also considering getting an ETS but I am scared for the side effects. so far I have hear some people say its really good but most of them have only had it done for a few months or a year max. I am kind of confused.
