success with Fischer MD-1a device

Post by lmissry »

I have tried Drysol, Maxim and Botox injections.
Nothing seems to work on my sweaty hands.

My doctor recently gave me a prescription for a Fischer MD-1a device.

Has anyone with extreme excessive hand sweating had any success with the MD-1a?
Also, has anyone had any success with Aetna covering the cost of the unit?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, not may (any) posts?
Well, I did purchase the unit. I used it for the first time last night.
I must say, it hurts. Any small cut on your hand (or even around your cuticles) hurts like crazy. It is not so bad that you stop, but it is 20 minutes of minor torture.
Anyway, I will try it every other day for 2 weeks and post my results.

Hey, this forum is pretty quiet but the information here is good.

Congratz with your results 8) For any cuts put vasaline on them.

If you can could you kindly post information and possibly pictures of your machine in this thread - http://www.esfbchannel.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2595

Thanks :)

*congrats on getting your machine (not results lol). You should start seeing the best results after 7-8 treatments I think.

It has been a long time since I posted.
But the MD-1 machine worked great after a few weeks of use.
