MiraDry for other body areas besides armpits?

Post by admin »

Some doctors are saying that MiraDry will be approved to treat other body areas besides the armpits in the future:

Good stuff!

Can't wait to be able to say goodbye to ETS as a palmar HH treatment.

...our clinic has done 49 treatments of miraDry, looking great for underarms, only two cases that did not respond as well as it should have.
Not bad, as 98% of patients super happy.

Just a word of warning, miraDry is great for armpits - axillary HH, but caution is needed for hands and feet. Why? Because it can easily knock out
the nerves, especially on the hands, resulting in muscle weakness that last for months.

Yes, if I had palmar - plantar HH, I would roll the dice with this treatment over ETS, but as a Specialist, we still need to be ultra cautious with miraDry
treatment as an off label indication.
