Re: ETS Surgery over 1 year ago
It's been almost 6 years since I had ETS surgery, I suffered with extremely bad sweating from my palms and feet. I have been so happy with the results of my surgery. I do still sweat from my hands, but only if i'm really hot and my feel still sweat. I was told that the surgery would not affect my fe...

Re: Post the name of your surgeon and cost of your ETS in he
My surgeon was Mr Ian Loftus at St George's Hospital in Tooting, London in 2009. Fortunately, I paid £0 for my surgery as this was covered by the National Health Service, however I was told a few years later that this is no longer covered by the NHS.

Re: ETS Surgery (Need Help)
Hi, I've had the surgery done 4 years ago now. I have had compensatory sweating on my face when I eat certain foods, yes this may be annoying but it's so much better than my hands constantly sweating. It didn't improve the sweating on my feet or armpits but to be honest my main issue was my hands, t...

Re: 2 years after ETS
Yeah sorry, I was looking through my paper work but it doesn't tell me anything about the exact surgery I had done.

Re: 2 years after ETS
Hi, I had it done just over 2 years ago now. It was for palmar only! I'm not too sure on which surgery it was but I have minor scars.
Good luck

Re: I had ETS 9 years ago today for Axillary Hyperhydrosis.
I know it's not a major issue but when I read about your children inheriting your HH, I really hope my children do not inherit it. I know it may not be a big deal but mentally I suffered a lot of bullying because of my palmar HH. It may sound stupid but that's how some children are, they will pick o...

Re: Stephen's story
I'm so glad to read more success stories after ETS surgery. I've noticed not a lot of people who post about getting the ETS done get replies from members so I am glad you have posted your own story. Hopefully it will encourage more people to make a decision, i'm not saying they should 100% go for it...

Re: Hello all :)
I am so glad that has worked for you. I should have tried this but I was desperate to get rid of my HH and went straight for surgery after trying many deoderants for hands to stop the sweating. My case sounds very similar to yours and although my hands have stopped sweating, my feet still continue t...

Re: 2 years after ETS
Sorry I forgot to add the disadvantages of my surgery... I occasionally do have a bit of face sweating and I have noticed this is when I eat certain foods, (chocolate, sour foods and cheese :/) and when I am exercising my right side does start to sweat but to be honest it's nothing compared to how I...

2 years after ETS
I posted a while back just after I had ETS surgery. I would now like to update everyone after I had the treatment done. I can't believe I waited so long to get this surgery done, honestly it has actually changed my life. I can now shake people's hands without worrying about what they will think, I c...

I understand what you mean but in school it was always the idiot boys who bullied me during class and they just wouldn't understand that I actually have a problem. I guess they were just ignorant and immature. I've always told my bfs about HH n my current bf even hates if people joke about my hands!

ETS For palmar hyperhidrosis
I had my operation at St George's Hospital in South London on the 25th November 2010. Not so long ago but after the surgery I'm happy with the results and obviously I'm still recovering but my hand is completely dry and was completely dry straight away. I thought I would be in serious pain after but...
