Taiwan government has banned ETS on under 20 year olds

"Starting in October 2004, The Department of Health, Executive Yuan, Taiwan, has prohibited surgeons from performing this operation on patients under 20 years old."

does anyone know what the current ETS status is?
the *child-ban* has been in place a while,...and we had hoped it was 1st step into banning ETS totally in taiwan

Alvinsduckie, I am sure they still perform ETS in Taiwan (Dr. Lin etc...). Sweden is the only country in the world where its banned, while Dr. Telaranta has stopped offering it in Finland, but there are still a few less experienced surgeons in that country performing ETS.

I'll ask Hpymaker at EZ board...last I had heard, no one under 18 (or 21) could have ETS in Taiwan.

2004 we protested to Taiwan Healthy department.
The result is government decided to stop ETS under 20.
2006, there is another "Pre-Evaluation agreement" before ETS. That means before ETS , there is a Evaluation test and consultant for ETS.
I have known that it makes ETS falling down.
One ETS surgeon said he nearly " No ETS case"!
Some of ETS Victims still seek "Suing healthy department" For ETS legality.
Why the government allowed "Evil Surgery to detroy thier National People' lives"
If the ETS Victims are rearching enough people, we are highly to sue government!
Again! I want to say it is not for any specific person, it is only for ban EVIL ETS this matter!
