Does ETS affect life expectancy?

I have been reading a lot about ETS on this website and am amazed at the list of possible side effects.

However, a majority of patients seem to be happy with the surgery. I am wondering how many patients report being happy 20-30 years down the road? Did the older ETS method affect life expectancy? How about newer techniques?

There don't seem to be too many responses here, but I hope some long-term patients do reply. Thanks.

I wouldn't mind a small amount of years off of my life if I lived a good one. Couldn't imagine living a "normal" life with hyperhidrosis.
