Will situation become worse at first and get better later?

Hi, all!

Just an hour ago, I built a homemade ion device according to "http://youtube.com/watch?v=WjPTacmAi3o&feature=related", and I did my first treatment.

But now, it seems my sweating hands have become a little worse, yes, just a little.

I am wondering is it ture that the situation will become worse after the treatment at first, and it will get better slowly later?

Could anyone exprienced tell me about this?
