Approx 70% of my hair has fallen out post-ets. Biotin, MSM don't work for me.
I have side effects on Minox and Propecia. Any ideas to regrow hairline?
Hair loss help post-ets?
Re: Hair loss help post-ets?
But did you already have hair loss before ETS?
And what's the reason for ETS cause hair loss? Hair loss is caused by DHT, i don't understand how can that surgery cause it. I dont think that there is any scientific data that connect hair loss to sympathectomy.

Re: Hair loss help post-ets?
I had zero hair loss. I had a great hair line. No hair loss in family either.
I have no idea idea why it causes hair loss. Nielson also lists it as a side effect here http://www.hyperhidrosis-usa.com/sideeffects.html
Current science has an incredibly primitive understanding of the human body.

And cutting these nerves works because they control the blood flow or don't we know?

We really don't know ...

You said that it can also cause problems, it sounds like we're treating a condition we don't understand with an operation which we don't understand why it helps - it seems like a recipe for disaster, if you don't mind me saying so.
Cameron
Pretty accurate summary, if I may say so, yeah we're doing something we don't understand why, we've no understanding of why it should give side effects, why it works sometimes, why it doesn't - it's a last resort for desperate people.
